I know this is reviving an old one, but I picked up a well worn but great shape Winchester M72A.
Refinished it and cleaned it up. Finally took it out today to sight in the irons.
Holy hell can these things shoot! Stock irons even was hollowing out the upper left corner of a 1" target patch at 25m
I took it over to the 100m range and put up an upside down triangle target.
It was printing 10 rounds in a 4 to 5" circle with bulk Federal Auto Match lead noses I picked up on a fire sale at Can Tire! With stock buckhorn irons!

I LOVE this rifle. The feel of it. The long length. Tight crisp trigger and smooth bolt and feed tube.

I've been missing this little baby in my life for a long time.
Thanks for the tips brothers!
