I am a new customer that never dealt with SFRC before. I inquired several times via email for information on products, backorders, stock availability and shipping quotes. But I get no responses from SFRC for weeks, while other dealers promptly answers all my inquiries within 24hrs. Do these guys ever respond to customer email inquiries at all? Do they really want new customers to shop with them or not? Ignoring my inquiries does give me a negative impression of their poor customer service. Don't they want new business with customers or not?

If you speak English or possibly even French, you should call them. I just called, asked questions, placed an order and bam, it was at my door a week later, give or take. I was flooded with notices every time someone even thought about my order, but better than no feedback until it shows up. I am very impressed with the folks at SFRC !

Never really had a communication issue with SFRC. E-mail were always responded to quickly, they even called me a few times. I know they have been busy the past few days due to the used gun sale. Best bet is to give them a call.

I've been having an issue getting emails returned lately from them as well. I hear they're extremely busy. I haven't had time to phone yet, but I'm told they're very easy to deal with on the phone, just haven't had time to answer all the emails.

That being said, given my past two experiences, if the price is the same elsewhere I'll be choosing elsewhere next time. That is just my own experience though with a lack of communication, I prefer emails and they have been too busy to do the email thing lately.

1) Ryan & his staff are busy. Give them time.
2) Calling the store during store hours will end with the best result- buying a new gun!
3) If you are adamant about emailing (as am I)- make sure you are typing your email in properly- for example: hotmial, gmial, yahho- you get the drift. They don't have the time to correct every misspelt email address (assuming you spelt the provider wrong- if you've spelt your user wrong, then you're SOL)

I have sent a number of inquires which were never responded to. So I simply took my business elsewhere. The few emails I did hear back from were a little slow and the responses were not overly professional in my opinion.

None the less, I'll still order from them in the future, as I have in the past, if they have something I want at a decent price. They do have fairly competitive prices on a lot of their items.

Also- seeing as Ryan will sometimes reply to emails on his cell phone, I'll forgive professionalism.
Don't forget that SFRC is a Canada-wide sensation, and at times Ryan could be fielding 100+ emails.

Spelt is a type of wheat

Spelled is what you mean....

Oh, Ryan is great at returning emails, texts and calls...

I do apologize for some of the late emails lately. I've been getting about 500 emails a day lately plus 50-75 pm's a day. I'm going to hermit tomorrow night and try to knock off 1500-2000 emails. Sometimes you'll get a brief reply, this is usually because I am replying from my cell. As well give us a call if you don't hear back in a day or do via email as sometimes our emails get blocked at the server level due to ammo in the title.

Hmm. Good to know.

As an example, I just replied to about a dozen emails. 3 bounced back as not being valid. We have also had to train some new people lately as badboybeeson quit out of the blue to work on other ventures which left us short. Toss in tax season and our number of orders doubling and we've gotten behind on emails.

Ryan- now that I have you here, I'll quote myself from a thread I started a week or so ago that went no where:

Also, anyway of adding a "Remember Me" option when signing into your site, similar to what CGN has? It'd be a good idea, since I'm sure there is lazy people like me out there, who don't like having to sign in every time.

Okay I see and understand why. Seems your customer service are short staffed on efficiency handling of emails compared to other dealers. I guess I will order some items soon as your prices are competitive. Thanks for your input.
