My thirteen year old daughter Emily decided to shoot the biggest deer in our family this year-my middle girl Sara got on the board with a 150 23 inch wide 5x5 in muzzie. Last week Emily and I had an ambush set up on a good 4x4 with his doe-it was -35 windchill and my little trooper almost froze out in the wind-the buck doubled back and my son Ty got him-he grossed 160. A few days later Emily missed a great 5x5-we had a little talk about picking a spot-it wasn't entirely her fault her 6mm has a crappy scope. Ty lent her his 25.06 with a bushnell 4200. We had a big heavy nontyp on trailcam in the provincial forest-Ems had him dead to rights till he turned his head and she saw he had his right horn broke off almost to his head-this is a 6 inch mass deer. All in all she probably passed on 50-60 bucks but yesterday Ty and her caught up to this old boy dogging a doe and she anchored him. Pretty pumped for my little girl!!

If you are not set to bust wide open with pride then there's something wrong with you! lol! What an amazing deer (and clearly - amazing kids as well). Congrats on both fronts!

Congrats to your daughter on a fine animal. Must be nice to pass up on 50-60 bucks.

I'd be happy to see 1 or 2 :(

Great job by everyone in your family this year. The deer are going to start avoiding the Northern Rancher property recognizing it as a deer version of the Bermuda triangle lol.

Incredible buck.

I want to hunt at your place... :D I put in a fair amount of time in the field for deer each year and will be lucky to see 5-10 bucks all year. Not one will have been in the 150+ class.
