So what other uses has everyone come up with for the canisters? I have few 1 lbers that are empty and want to find a use. Is it recommended to reuse for breaking down 8 lbers? Or for keeping cast pills in? Could just recycle, but if I can use them....

Well if anyone around Calgary has some empty one pound containers of Tightgroup or Unique they don't want I will take them.

I'm 45 min north of Edmonton, if you're ever in the area PM me and you're welcome to a few of my empties.
I'll sweeten the pot and we can shoot some guns while you're here :)

Why putting the content of a 5 or 8 lbs jug into multiples smaller containers?
I would guest that the opposite would be better, for a more compact and cleaner looking shelf.

With the 1 lb. containers , I cut the top off & store bullet molds with handles in them.
With the 8 lb. containers , I also cut the top off , but keep the handle , & store either ;
damaged (scrap) brass , damaged lead bullets or dead batteries in them.
These 8 lb. ones are just like any other plastic pail to keep anything . ,,,,,,,,,, Frank

It's easier to pour the powder into a powder measure from a 1 lb container than from the bigger jugs.

I'm looking for a 1 lb container for Bullseye. The 8 Lb. container I bought is too large to be pouring powder into my measure and back again. The smaller container would be easier. If you have an empty Bullseye container I'd be interested in recycling it for you.;-)
