I would love to see some Modified Tantos from Ka-Bar, as well as the classic USMC fighter knives.

Thanks for another vote for Ka-Bar. We’ll be bringing a few in October as a result of multiple suggestions I am thinking 1-2x of the popular models as a feeler and go from there! (Full size mod tanto, full size clip point, classic leather USMC, maybe 1 of the MKI Marine)

Re: ZT…yes we are fans of ZT’s lineup but have yet to find a well priced supplier.

I think one cool thing for knives would be army surplus bayonets like old M1 Garand/K31 bayonets

I'd suggest CRKT! They have a few great options. If you like a fixed blade pocket friendly blade, their minimalist line is great. Multiple styles, some of them are very utilitarian and some are more fun.

If you prefer folders there's a few I'd suggest looking at:

CRKT LCK + for assisted opening
CRKT Drifter for manual opening, subtle
CRKT M21-10KSF for manual opening, tactical

We could special order any/multiple of these for you within that sub-$60 CAD price range each. PM me if you are interested and we can get you stocked up for the next year!

That's wild, how far was the drop? I suspect it must have had a defect since 8CR13MOV and 5CR15MOV (the steels they use) are pretty forgiving.

The one I've used regularly has never let me down.

Reach out to CRKT warranty if you haven't already, they offer excellent warranty service in my experience!
