What make of holster would be suitable for a Enfield revolver, if I was to use one for IDPA?

Also which speed loaders? I used to know but have now forgotten!!

Your joking of course! With factory ammo at approx $47.00/50 rds, you had better be into volume bullet casting and reloading .38 S&W. If your thinking of an inexpensive revolver to shoot IPSC with, try a used "K" frame S&W or GP-100 with .38 Specials.

Years ago, I shot 1 full year of IPSC with a S&W M66 using .38 Special +P loads and it was the most fun that I had in the 10 years that I shoot IPSC.

Nope, no joke! Just a bit eccentric a bit perhaps! Is there a holstewr that I could 'mold' or alter to use?

ps, I do reload!!

Well, you'll need a concealment type holster that covers the trigger guard and you have to make a power factor of 125,000 (bullet weight x velocity) for Stock Service Revolver or 165,000 for Enhanced Service Revolver. That works out to 625 fps for a 200gr. bullet in SSR.

You could always get Blade-Tech to custom build an IWB for it.:)

Good for you for using what you want for IPSC. I know of lots of people who use "non regular" pisyols for IPSC and not only compete, they win at events!

Hats off to you! Now if only my AUtomag barrell was not so long.....

I'm a bit rusty with the "rules", but you may want to check on whether you will make the minimum IPSC Power Factor (safely) with your Enfield #2 and .38 S&W loads or not. If you do, fine, if not...well, you'll really be shooting the match just for fun....which may or may not bother you. :)

Thanks for all the feedback! The enfield action is the strongest of its type so I should be able to make the minimum power factor safely Not going to go for max!!:D

Can anybody tell me about the place in Canada where I could get .38 S&W rounds for Enfield No 2 Mk 1* ? I've read that they are still produced by Winchester and Remington.

I think an uncle mikes nylon revolver holster size three would be fine. You should cut the retention strap off as you are required to use any safety devices you have on it. Good luck and have fun IPSC is a game.
