Never seen a Sterling one yet that worked properly. Most required a superhuman effort to ram the cartridge home.

Not the two rifles I've had Sterling mags on, both of them fed smoothly.

(No 4 Mk 2 in 7.62 Nato with FNC1 bayonet)
(note the shiny replacement longer 3BA ejector screw, kindly provided by Enfield Lock in Merry Olde England)

i think the second round was in the chamber before the first one was out the end of the tube........
