So I have what was once an attempt to make a cut away Lee Enfield. It has the side of the barrel milled off but nothing done to the receiver. It has no wood and it's a 1915 dated action.

Is there any value in this action to anyone or is it pretty much scrap/wall hanger?

If the action is absolutely unmodified, it is worth saving. With barrel leftover attached, worth a bit less, since there's work needed to remove the scrap barrel. With bolt or without?

$10 stripped depending on condition. With bolt/triggerguard/trigger/stock bolt/magazine $50-$100 in parts, again depending on condition. The bolt and magazine have the most value.

Receiver, bolt, trigger, trigger guard and magazine are all there. Serial numbers all match as did the barrel.

As I said the barrel is toast and no wood or stock bolt. I'm not looking to get rich just to see if anyone values the sum of the parts enough for it to live on.

The side is stamped as follows:

GR
BSAC (with a smaller C at the end)
1915
SHTLE
III
