so this is a little weird, i had to pull my enfield apart the other week for an issue with the safety, i pulled the trigger guard off, got it sorted out, everything worked fine. took her to the range today, put a couple down the tube, shot great, after that the trigger wouldnt pull, it was stuck in the fully depressed position. turns out i had to push on the mag release while closing the bolt to get the bolt to ####, it was just sliding in without cocking. so i brought it home today, pulled the trigger guard off and noticed that v shaped spring had popped out of place. so i put it back in place and everything was pretty tight in there, so i gave her a cleaning and got alot of grime out and then oiled the 4 moving parts, everything seemed to move together nicely. put it back together, put the bolt in and it would #### each i closed the bolt. put the magazine in and it doesnt #### anymore, pull it out and it works again. im lost as to what else it could be. ive looked at exploded views on google, everything looks to be together right. im gonna pull it apart again and make sure the spring has seated in both grooves, but short of that i cant figure this one out.

thats what it was, sear wasnt sitting right against the trigger end of things. played with it a little more and it clicked into place, from the looks of it i may have had it in too far on that side, no idea. just hoping it doesnt pop out again next time i take it shooting.
