Enfield Bolt Question #3333

Would this be a replacement bolt for a LongBranch? And kind of curious about the serial number as well.

Looks to have a British bolt head on a Long Branch bolt. The serial number of the rifle would have been marked in full on the bolt handle as XXT3333 using a smaller square font.
Yours may have been used by the British as a replacement bolt, although I would expect to see a 'Broad Arrow' on the body as well.

LB bolt would be serial numbered like 20L0873 the L standing for Longbranch.

This one is stamped LB--would that not mean it is a LongBranch part?

Yea It marked longbranch, it's likely a field replacement. I have a maltby enfield that has a matching savage bolt. But a maltby serial number.

Your bolt does not look ground down. I think it was replaced in the field or could have been a home replacement.
