Enfield buttplate question

Two questions for those who know.

1) Would a 1944 British No 4 Mk I T BSA sniper rifle have a Zanac buttplate or a brass one?
2) Would the Zanac buttplate on a 41 Long Branch be LB marked or no?

Canada did not use ZAMAC butt plates but LB's might have them if refurbished in the UK

Ah! So a Long Branch 1941 would have left the factory with brass? Or stamped steel?

Here's what was on my 41 LB FTR'd in England. I can't see any markings on it. It's actually the first Enfield I can recall owning with a Zamac plate.

Here's my 41 beside my newest toy, a 44 BSA No 4 Mk I T sniper.
Both have Zamac plates. I don't have a scope mt yet but when I get it I'm putting the Weaver K2.5 on it.
