Above ctg was used in the troop trials P13s. There were several other designs of.256" and .276" considered.

Are you referring to the .270, .280, .280/30, 7mm HV, 7mm HVII, 7mm Optimum, 7mm 2nd Opt, 7x51, 7x49.5 or any other variation thereof???

I have a booklet at home with most of the specs, or you could just buy the FAL book & be confused as the rest of us.....

"British 7MM Ammunition" and "British .256 and .276 Ammunition" by Labbett and Mead covers the EM and P13 ammo respectively.
COTW gives dim of 7x43 aka 280/30 aka 7mm MkI
