Enfield Cavalry Carbine value?

I'm trying to get an idea of what a virtually perfect Enfield Cavalry Carbine is worth. It's quite hard for the uninitiated to find a value on these lovely guns in Canada. As noted the gun is near perfect, no major stock dings, numbers matching as far as I could see, marked D over C in diamond on the stock, leather sight protector in decent shape. I've never seen one even close to this good. The bore is greased, so I have no clue what it is like, but if it's as good as the rest of the carbine, it's exceptional. So, what's a fair price?

If you're going to sell it to me, probably worth about a hundred bucks! Haha! Might be worth more though.

I assume the rifle is an Snider Enfield Calvary Carbine...., one recently sold for $950 on Oldguns.ca

Is it a mk II or a mk III?

The regimental # should be stamped on the brass buttplate, this would help to know the history of service and issue, and thereby the value.

Ohh yes i had assumed it was a LEC rifle

Due to im currently holding an LEC at stanley rifle range. And the leather sight protector

Is it coming from newfoundland?

It's a Boer War era Enfield Cavalry carbine (LEC), and unfortunately I can't take pictures. Frankly I've seen a few of these, maybe a dozen, but not one in this kind of condition. The DC in diamond is the only mark other than the usual makers marks. Honestly, if someone told me it was unissued, I'd be willing to believe them.

A LE carbine is unusual with the DC stamp since that mark was replaced prior to the date of issue of the LE.
