Enfield hanging trigger

"hung triggers" were from the No.4Mk1/2, No.4Mk1/3 and No.4Mk2 rifles.

The receiver mounted trigger you are thinking of came out in 1949 when it started appearing on the No.4Mk1/3 rifle (a re-manufactured No.4Mk1), then the No.4Mk1/2 and No.4Mk2 rifles.

They are not adjustable. Standard military 2 stage triggers.

It's a better setup. The trigger is no longer hung by the trigger guard, meaning it's unaffected by changes in the wood or blows to the bottom metal in service. Al too often. the older style triggers have become single stage through wood shrinkage or abusive handling of the rifle. The Mk2 design is immune to that and very consistent. Also, the through bolt for the stock is more positive and gives a more consistent fit at the draws, prolonging the life of the forestock.
