You are asking us to give you quotes on a pig in a poke. If you can, post some pics or ask someone here to provide you with an email address to send pics to for evaluation. You will need pics of the left side of the receiver, the bolt, stocks etc. You will need sharp clear pics or no one can give you a decent price. As for varnish, rumor has it some of them were varnished in certain conditions to protect the stocks. Malaysia comes to mind.

I bought one that had been certainly used, but works great (cases look fine after ejection) from a local gunstore for 600 last November.

Edit: all matches except bolt.

mine matches all except mag, and i`m not sure if they were all issued with a matching mag, as mine was unwrapped from the paper, the bayonet taken. for $200 it was mine. a bayonet collector bought it for the bayonet, but didn`t want the gun. not sure if i`d let it go for much less than $900 if i was to sell it. and i know where the bayonet is.
