Screw the 6/49
I concluded a deal recently with a felllow CGN and picked up a wack of LE No 4 Parts.
Anyhow, I've been skipping around my work shop and looking the parts over, some good stuff in here.
First off, I discovered a LB marked safety assembly and sear/mag release...
Yep, I swaped these out, (after -re-bluing), onto my 1943 LB. So she's all LB parts now
I basically have enough parts to assemble two LE No4's with some left overs.
Here is most of the score, (some parts are in the workshop):
I plan on swapping out quite a few parts on my various LE's to make them correct, (are'nt we Gun Collectors Anal
). The rest are going to be sorted out, posted in the EE form and then off to flea-bay.
Mostly No 4 parts but some LE 22 and No 5 parts.
I'm starting a post on the two rebuilds...
More to come...
