Is the aluminum butt-plate noticeably lighter than the brass one on a NO.4 MK1?
I see what looks like an alloy butt plate on the EE and would love to swap out my brass one IF it sheds a couple ounces.

Brass: 3.5 oz
Alloy: 3.0 oz

No problem. It made me curious. So obviously it was a material saving issue and not a weight saving measure.
