Enfield raised cheekpiece screws--where to get?

Hey folks,just received a raised cheekpiece for my L42a1 build. No its not original so relax!! Anyways I need a couple of long screws to mount it to the stock. I bought it from Numrich and looked at their site and no screws were listed. Now I don't want to just run down to the local hardware store and grab some Robertson head screws and use them.

Any ideas where to find something that will look good?

Slotted screws would be "correct" for the period. I'm wondering if butt plate screws would fit?

When I had mine, I just ran slotted brass wood screws.

You need 2 different lengths. Front 1 1/4" and rear 1 1/2". These are slotted, steel, #8"s. You won't find these at the Hardware Store. Send me a PM..I have a couple spares. Ron
