a while back i totally stripped and cleaned my no4 mk1 enfield, its all assembled now, but i find its shooting 10" high at 30 yards with the rear sight at the lowest position. it shot fine before?!? i did notice that the barrel and the wood has some wiggle between the two at the muzzle. should i keep tightening t he barrel clamp till the wiggle is gone? what am i doing wrong?

Go ahead, tighten the screws until the wood splits! I'm going to be the first to suggest that you have misaligned the 'draws' and the stock surfaces.
Loosen off the screws, bang the butt vertically solidly on the floor, snug them back, bang the butt, and tighten the screws again.
