Enfield Stock & Magazine fitting

Well, I've finally acquired all the necessary parts to fully restore my Savage No. 4 MKI (not star) and am ready to get to putting her together. Most all the marked parts are Savage marked, however the butt-screw is British as well as missing all the it's parts (washers of many varieties, I'm told), the trigger guard is not manufacturer marked, and my stock does not have the small steel pillar at the king screw. Having said that, all other parts are Savage marked and most are NOS, and thus do not fit. Forestock, buttstock and magazine are all very tight and do not simply drop into place. I'm wondering if anyone in and around Calgary has experience putting these old girls together and would be willing to spend a couple hours helping and guiding me on how to fit the parts without wrecking them.
