I can't think of anything more truly Canadian than hunting with a sporterized Enfield.

Actually , it's a matching '43 Longbranch
I take the mil-stocks off and put the sporter stocks on , keeping the originals' safe. ...about a 5 min changeover.

my main hunting rifle is a Sporter LE as well. It's taken a few deer and moose, handed down to me by my grandfather. Who needs a cartridge that goes 600 m flat when everything I kill is inside 150m? And a 303 loaded today with a modern bullet is more than enough to kill any critter.

Sweet all of the cool factor, but with a scope you can actually use! Very nice rifle.
