Enforcer stock

My guess would be that a Monte Carlo butt, a rear handguard, its retaining ring, a normal forend and the middle band (with screw and sling swivel) are all that's needed. Oh, and minimal woodworking skills to trim the handguard / forend to length and carve the recess in them for the middle band. Never did it though so that's just a guess.

Almost impossible. There were approximately 700 manufactured...over 50% destroyed by the British Police Force. Some parts out there however they are more expensive than No4T stuff.
Are you building a clone? You would be best to take a No4 Stile butt and take off the checkering. Pad can be had and the grip cap is PH plastic. The forend is specific to Enforcer and L42. I have seen made from a No4 forend and No8 handguard. The length however is incorrect. I do have a heavy profile barrel (not Enforcer) that could be used for the project. You need a 4 - 10 Var Pecar and 26mm rings and your in business.

I've been looking at pictures of enforcers and envoys.Its seems that you cut the no.4 forestock at the the barrel band and come back 3/4" for the new barrel band position.then play with the handguard to match up?? or take stocker forestock and add wood to practice on.I have two enforcer stocks to redo.

I own an Envoy. I built an Enforcer and sold it to member on the board. It was patterned after one I had here for some work so it was very close to the real thing. I was fornute engough to have a butt. Was picked up at a local gun show about 6 years ago. They are all serialized to the rifle.
The Envoy and Enforcer have the same hammer forged barrel. They also have the same front sight (I might have a spare). The Envoy was set up for Palma match shooting. Had a much longer and wider forend. It used a Parker Hale or AJP aperature rear sight. These were not drilled and tapped for scopes mounts. Butt is like the No8 cadet 22 rifle. No recoil pad.
The Enforcer was ordered by the Police force as a tactical rifle. Same receiver and barrel as the Envoy. All similarities stop there. The forend was L42 and the butt was monte carlo by Stile....no checkering like the No4 sporters and beech to boot. The forend on a No4 cut approx 1/2" in front of the mid band and the barrel cut openned up for the heavy barrel....basically like Enfield did. The hand guard is approximatley 3/4" longer than the the No4. Its much heavier than the No4 and there was a depression at the rear for scope clearance. It uses the No4 British mid band just like the L42. I have a complete L42 forend and can give you some extra measurements if you like!
The Enforcer used the 5E aperature sight and the BA 21/A20 scope bases. This way the base of the 5E stayed on the rifle and did not interfere with the scope. You need RAHS.4 (26mm) Parker Hale rings and a 4-10x56mm scope for optics. You see a number of 45mm scopes for sale...not many 56mm.

A good starting poiny for an Enforcer clone is one of the sporter stocks made by Bishop. I found one at a gun show a while ago for $20. The only thing is I can't bring myself to chop the barrel of my Lee down so I keep hoping to find one already chopped.

I bought a target rifle a while back 45 LB based didn't care for the stock on it so I bought a NO 8 stock set from a guy in NZ and fit it to my LB rifle nothing fancy I had to do just fit it so I could get the mag in the rifle turned out perfect to say the leased.

The Enforcer's barrel is heavier and longer than a No.4's. But if you are using a No.4 you'll have to chop it before the foresight area or it won't look at all right. Then you have to decide whether to have the obviously too short barrel or cut the stock back proportionally.
I will have a No.4 barrel spare eventually, it's been with a local gunsmith for almost two years waiting for him to take it off the action.
I think he did you should find it in the Milsurps.com forum he also posted a few others that are good too.
Here is one I did using a NO 8 stock set - the butt stock,the butt stock I used is Canadian and I used this set up because it gave me a great cheek weld over all it is well balanced and very comfortable to shoot. The stock set I found was easy to fit just took a little time and patience.

I have an Enforcer, an L39A1 (with a No8 butt stock) and two Envoys. You can see the Monte Carlo style configuration on the Enforcer. I didn't change the buttstock on the L39A1 because of where it came from (i.e. RAF-Germany) The Envoys have not been modified since I have owned them. I hope these pictures help.
