English volley nock gun

You can order a flintlock long gun from the States with no problem, assuming that the seller will ship it to you. I've recently brought two flinters up from the bottom of the drain. Nice to have things moving North again instead of South.

Volley gun is very historical, design in mid 1700s and issued to navy, idea was to fire onto a deck of enemy ships, it was a lot of kickback and proved dangerous to poor bustards firing them and trying to hold onto the riggings.

It would be amazing to see one fire.

Cheers

They're not. If you go to Cabelas or Bass Pro Shops on the south side of the border you can find cap-lock revolvers being sold openly, not even locked up or anything (unlike the knives), they're just hung in the aisle like any other item. The ones I saw came as kits with the revolver, a handful of balls, and some cleaning stuff. Powder and caps were in the next aisle.

Gotta admit that put a huge grin on my face that day.

Flinters long guns in Canada are A-Ok. I don't believe caplock guns are controlled in the states, but they are in Canada

got to hold a Nock volley gun when the Pattern Room was still at Leeds. HEAVY!

My Baker came out of India via the U.K.
Couple of minor things wrong.
1. on pulling the trigger the hammer came crashing down on HALF-#### (got that fixed)
2. Barrel smoothbored, got that rifled.
3. Stock an UGLY orange colour:eek: restained it.
Misfired part of the time, enlarged the touch hole
