Engraved Mosin Nagant Rifle

Came across this engraved mosin nagant and thought it was really interesting, it's extraordinary to see so much effort put into a $200 surplus gun. With the caveat of stories attached to guns are not always true the story from the seller is that it was purchased by a WW2 veteran in Japan already engraved and sporterized, I'm not normally taken by sporterized guns but this one is a beaut, enjoy the pics

Many MN's were sporterized in Japan,there are some very deluxe high end ones as well with beatiful wood and expess sights/mauser style safeties ............Harold
