wondering if theres any reason why not to enlarge the flash holes in some brass. was cleaning some 270 brass and accidentally used a 3/32 drill bit, instead of a 5/64. can i just drill them all to 3/32, or is this one piece garbage?

The larger flash hole is not a good idea. It will generally increase pressures in a given load. I would dump that case, myself, and consider it a lesson learned. regards, Eagleye.

The only time you should do this is when experimenting with primer only propelled ammo, such as plastic bullet or wax bullets with straight wall cases, don't get these specially prepared cases mixed up with your reg. ammo cases, as someone else said, it would raise pressures and also aid in blow primers/blowback.
