Entry level .223 Reminton or Savage

Was the replacement trigger for the Stevens ordered from Savage, or after market? I am interested in looking into this option, but I am not sure where to look for the price on parts.

I went with the Rifle Basix brand at wholesale sports for about $120. I did not shop around, there may well be better prices available. This was my birthday present to me, and I was just happy to find it available nearby with no delays.

There is another trigger that is very well spoken of made by Sharp Shooters Supply. I'm not sure if anyone in Canada carries them, but a lot of Savage shooters are very happy with them. If ordering this one I'd add a metal trigger guard to the order as well.

Those are the two main brands that I've heard lots of good reviews on. Hope that helps.
