EOHC Level 2 IPSC Match

Wheee! Back to B... So we know we'll have B trophies/plaques, since I can easily see at least 6 of those names at the nationals...

Ok, no more ICS stages between now and Kingston!

Trophies for the nationals had to be ordered (so they would be ready in time) at the cut off for late registration.

At that time, there was significant representation in every class in the three divisions to order 1st through 3rd place.

There were three exceptions;

Production Master, only 1st and 2nd were ordered.
Production A , only 1st and 2nd were ordered.

GMs are not getting class awards - we assume they are competing for the 1st-10th awards anyway.

They're nice awards too.

geez Omen, you would have had an A class production trophy for sure. :D

So that means if Vince can make the Nationals, then regardless of how he placed, he would get 1st place "A" in production? At the National level, are you saying that the competitors class has to be recognized, even if they are the only one....?

I believe you need 5 per class or category for official IPSC recognition BUT the match organizers can give out whatever match plaques/tropies they want (for example, last year we didn't have 5 Lady Prod shooters there, so no president's medal was awarded (that's an IPSC thing), but a plaque for the top one was given out (that's a MD/MO thing).

I 'm curious to see how my recent Classifiers went. I don't think they brought me down, probably just stayed the same + or - a percentage.

Ok, so what if I had no idea about this whole Alias thingy, being a complete neophyte...
I have just registered an alias as pl2ic, but that wasn't anywhere on my score sheet, so...now what?

Not that I expect to actually be classified as anything good...is there a 'barely breathing' classification? ZZ class? I'm all over that one:redface:

Contact the match director and inform him that you now have an alias. You technically should have got one before, as he can not send it in if you don't have one.

Nothing really...

If you didn't have the Alias prior to the match...and didn't include it on your score sheets...the ICS stages won't effect you. Keep in mind that this is for Regional (ie. Canadian) and International classifications...

Provincial Classifications are completely different. You can read about them here http://www.ipsc-ont.org/docs/how_work.pdf

Actually...you would contact the stats crew ;)

...but in this case it's too late. The results have already been submitted

Uhhmm... the match results aren't up yet, are they? (or am I looking at a cached version of that page)?

Hmmm....I wonder if Bud is away/busy. I had sent him an email regarding some other business and have yet to hear a reply......
