What Eotech to get, will they all clear front sight post or do you need to get some kind of riser mount?

You don't want it up above the FSP. You won't even notice the FSP once you get that sight going.

The XPS series is co-witness with the FSP
500 serie is not, but not an issue

Concerning the EXPS/XPS models, the 3-x series is NV compatible, the 2-x series isn't. If you don't need the NV compatibility get a 2-x and save yourself about $100. The EXPS has a quick release mount and I believe a 1/3 cowitness. The XPS is a screw on mount with true cowitness. The reticle is up to you.
