Has been looking at an optic for few weeks ....couldn’t decide between the Aimpoint T2/H2 vs the Eotech HWS. Was at CRAFM last week, and they had an APC9 with the T1, and a GHM9 with an EXPS2-0. Tried both, for me, the EXPS HWS was a winner when it comes to rapid acquisition and field of view. I settled for the EXPS2-0. I mounted it on my GHM9, and when I tried to zero it at 25 yards, both elevation and windage were off by a good 2 turns, it was low and to the right. Now, I have no previous experience with Eotech HWS and I could be out to lunch when it comes to these devices. But the manual says it should be aligned more or less with the bore sight from the factory, when mounted on a standard mil spec rail. I Don’t think anyone moved the settings while at the vendor, just wondering if those initial figures seem to be right ? Also, anyone knows if the zero stays good when removed and reinstalled....or it’s better not to remove it at all. Thanks

A turn or two isn’t uncommon to have it sighted in. Also I have removed my optic dozens of times and it has never lost its zero
