No.

The model number is only stamped on the box. The model number of a EOTech may be discerned by the (respective) presence or absence of particular features.

OK... And I'm hoping there's a table or a flow-chart someplace with a way to determine the model?

From my limited knowledge, I think it goes like this:

511 - N style batteries, no NV mode
512 - AA batteries, no NV mode
551 - N batteries, NV mode
552 - AA batteries, NV mode
553 and up - no idea!

553 has ARMS levers, CR123's, NV.
555 has ARMS levers, AA batteries, NV.
556 looks like a 552 with side mounted controls for NV/Magnifiers, but CR123's
557 looks like a 552 with side mounted controls for NV/Magnifiers
