eotech on tavor.

Actually just had laser eye surgery done so should be good. I can't remember which exact vortex red dot I have, back at home so will have to update on it. Was a good red dot but just didn't like dot size. Vortex viper PST 1-4 is amazing and love reticle and dot size but am curious about what a quality red dot is like. Have recently learned the difference between a 200 dollar optic and the 600 dollar optic. I really just shootargets 25-100 yards and odd gopher expedition.

The one thing no one has mentioned is that with a holographic sight like the Eotech, the size of the dot and ring don't change with eye relief or magnification. I've had a strikefire, a trs 25 and a bunch of cheaper red dots and the eotech is the hands down winner. I like the AA batteries, and with the 8hr shutoff you can go a long time between changes.

Sweet baby Jesus why are those magnifiers worth more than the red dots?

Be prepared to pay the price for quality optics. A magnifier from Eotech is a quality optic just like its counterpart, the Eotech red dot.

Wait untill you discover what an Elcan Specter DR can do for you.

This hobby is largely a buy once cry once one, and while the price you pay can be hard to choke, the quality and craftsmanship is superb, much like the Tavor itself And other comparitively priced black rifles.

Ya I realized price I saw was a eotech and magnifier. Pic only showed magnifier, why I was caught off guard a bit lol.

Heres a quick way to get 4X magnification... lol ...

I run an EXPS 3-2 on my tavor with a second Gen EOTECH magnifier on a STS mount lol. Absolutely love it. I have had the same set of batteries in my EOTECH for almost a year now, will probably change it sooner or later. I have taken this setup hiking with me a few times on several 3 day hikes with the sight on the whole time, it takes the abuse that's for sure. No issues with weather or the elements either.
