Eotech Refund

What percentage of you guys sending them back have actually experienced the issues identified, or even own optics manufactured during the time identified in the suit?

FYI - there's a settlement offered. If you returned your eotech, there's supposed to be another voucher for 22.50 (buy yourself a nice warm meal :p)

If you want to continue to be a part of any lawsuits now or in the future, you have to exclude yourself from the settlement.

If you want to return your sight for MSRP + 15 shipping - you still can

Deadline is May 23.

Here's the info: http://www.fostersettlement.com

To be honest, I don't know how the voucher thing applies to Canadians (see the line about US residents)

Here's the MSRP table http://www.fostersettlement.com/DocumentHandler.ashx?DocPath=/Documents/MSRP_v2.pdf

so e.g. if you were to return a 2012 model 556 you get up to 615 + 15 for shipping + 22.50 voucher = 652.50 USD

I took the highest retail price I could find in canada and converted into us. They approved it but in the end sent me a bit less.. but they probably just sent me what msrp was.

I asked for the highest price I could find them for here and was told that the model i had was worth $500 and change US, I agreed and sent in a new request with the quoted amount and when i got the confirmation email i sent it away. Got my cheque not long ago which worked out to $700 Canadian which was a good deal more than I had into it so I'm happy.
I really liked that sight and never noticed any of the issues that were reported but to make a couple hundred bucks on it without having to deal with the lowball EE offers I couldn't say no.
