Eotech Refund

How long has it been taking you guys to hear back from Eotech?
Emailed on the 28th and still haven't received a response, although I could only imagine they are drowning in emails.

I sent on Xmas day, heard back Monday.

Well that is concerning.

For clarification, you just fill in the blanks on the page from the link, click submit and wait for them to contact you with the RMA number? Or have I missed some step along the way?

Ha, I'm retarded. I assumed you meant the following Monday. As in the 28th.
Don't mind me, I'm just going to slither away with my tail between my legs...
Thanks for the help bsand!

Here is a question or two for you, I have a Bushnell Holo sight which was made by Eotech. Mine takes the N battery and is about 2002 vintage if memory serves. I know I paid $450. bucks for it plus taxes at the time. I remember that because I thought I was crazy for outlaying that kind of cash for a dot type sight. I have I read some of the info on this thread but can't see any reference to the Bushnell sights and if they are covered or how far back in years does the defect on these sights go.
If any of you fellas have any info on this I would appreciate it.

I submitted my request on Dec 31st and got the RMA email on Jan 4th

Likewise, submitted on 30 Dec, received RMA email on 4 Jan. Sent my unit off to Michigan yesterday afternoon. I remain cautiously optimistic about how long this will take, but they have apparently set up an "EoTech Refunds" section, as that's who the instructions said to address the package to. Best case scenario: they pay out whatever we asked in US$; middle case scenario: they pay out what they agreed to pay in the RMA email in CAD; worst case scenario: they keep our optics, L-3 closes the EoTech division and we never hear from them again.

Ya, I sent mine off UPS but didnt notice that the computer cut the 'refunds' off 'Eotech Refunds' for the address. :(
Although when you google map the address, it's not the largest building in the world. So, seeing as the refund documentation is in the box, hopefully it makes it to the correct person. *fingers crossed*

I sent mine in by Canadapost on the 24th and Checked on the progress yesterday by sending an email as the tracking # showed it as delivered .
I received the following email today :d

Thank you for contacting EOTech. We are working on refunds and will process them as soon as possible.
You will receive a refund payment once your request has been verified.

I put in my request today to send back 2 sights, and a magnifier. I will update when I hear back.
My Tavor looks naked!

In the process of sending my EXPS2-2 w/ magnifier back and was just told in order to send them back together, assuming you bought them as the package, that there's a separate serial number on the original hard case packaging they came in that must be submitted as well. You'll probably save yourself a bit of time if you drop them an email with the additional info instead of waiting for them to ask for it.

My magnifier was purchased separately. Crossing my fingers. If they wont accept it, I will wait to see what my red dot replacement will be, and see if its compatable.
Im leaning towards ACOG. I saw a model I like in 3.5x.

Anyone know what a 2006 553 (Black) was/is going for? I know USD MSRP was last seen at $749.00 (according to their website) http://www.eotechinc.com/holographic-weapon-sights/model-553 so should I ask for that?

Edit: Sorry, didn't read through each page -- do we need to ship these back in their original boxes? I still have the box, but if they can just be shipped back without the box I'd be glad to do that (less shipping weight & size).
