Eotech Refund

Is there a timeline with regards to how long we have to send these units back in? I really want to wait and see what the refund will be? U.S. or Canadian currency in what form? Cheque??

The response to my request was to clarify if the amount I was claiming I pain was in US or Canadian funds. They didn't ask for a receipt. I suspect it will be in the form of a cheque
 
I hated mine, couldn't see it in bright sunlight (especially when there was snow on the ground and a bright day). Never had a problem with the optic itself though
 
I love both of mine. It's more about the ethics of the company, the people who's life was depending on the sights as advertised, and how they knew about the deficiency, but didn't do anything about it until it was revealed.

I'm looking into purchasing an ACOG to replace them. I think I will be happier with that.
 
I really like the reticle, it gets me on target fast, nothing quite like it. But if I am getting my zero on a 25C day at the range, and then hunting at -5C, I cannot take ethical shots if I am questioning my point of impact.
 
Just sent in my request for refund, I really wanted to keep the sight but the more I thought about the company knowingly supplying faulty sights to turn a quick buck, the less I wanted anything to do with it. It's a shame, the reticle is great but such is life. Now comes the waiting game
 
For those of you who own Bushnell Holo Sights that were made by Eotech and branded under the Bushnell name.
I called Bushnell Canada in Toronto a couple days back to see if the Bushnelll branded sights would be covered in the recall. They did not know a thing about it. So I explained the issue to him, and suggested he look on Eotechs web site. I asked that he look into the matter and get back to me. He did so to-day. The word from Eotech through Bushnell is that Bushnell branded sights will not be covered by any current refund program offered by Eotech.

So for all you folks like myself who own the Bushnell Holo Sights we are SOL from either Bushenll and Eotech.
 
So my buddy has 3 Eotech's he wants to send in.

Does he just send 3 seperate RMA requests?
He has 2 that are the same model/manufacture date, and then a third that's different.
 
I think there is an option to add more equipment to the RMA request.

It seems like he could do the two that are the same together (mainly because the manufacture date is the same) but it seems like the third would have to be done separately.
 
Anyone know if you can send A Magnifier back with a sight. It wasn't purchase as a combo But purchased at the same time. I want to send back the sight but have no use for the magnifier and don't want to get stuck with it

Sights and combo sights only. To return the combo you need orginial box/case for the serial #.
 
Form sent on the 20th, no response. Secondary email sent 25th - no response. Called yesterday and today all extensions go to a voicemail, left a message yesterday and today no response.

Anyone actually receive their check yet?
 
My tracking number shows my optic arrived there almost 2 weeks ago and nothing from them yet and no response to my inquiries.
I'm not holding my breath for that cheque
 
haha, they did they 60-90 days. I still haven't sent mine in, as im using it for a CQB match next weekend. I guess I'll hang onto it for a bit longer, see if anyone gets the $$.
 
If I can't even get ahold of them I'm not risking losing my eotech and being out of the $ that I was going to put towards another optic. I'll wait and see if anyone gets their cash as well.
