Eotech reticle quality between models?

Hello,

Looking at getting an Eotech for my AR. I see there is a wide range of models and the main differences I can see are what style of battery they take, mount style, where the buttons are and what the housing looks like.

One question I had is if the quality of the reticle and the electronics that power it are all the same between the models? Ie is the reticle and glass the same on the lowest cost 512 as expensive EXPS3?

I might add a magnifier later but don't think that will effect my current decision.

I've owned everything from a 512 to an EXPS3. I've never noticed a difference in glass or reticle quality.

That said, I'd recommend spending the money on one of the XPS/EXPS models. The reduced footprint and transverse battery are a much better design IMO.
