EOTech vs. Aimpoint

That's a hard call, Personally I used a EO Tech over seas and beat it up very very bad for 9 months and it kept a zero the whole time and I changed the batteries once. It is defiantly a quality optic. I don't have much hands on with any aimpoints so I wont comment on them

Between the two, EOTech XPS2. If we're talking the Aimpoint Micro T1, different story... I have both an EOTech and Micro, use and love them both.
:agree:
Shoties I love the EoTech and my 858 rocks the Aimpoint.
Also one thing is nice about the EoTech it has a reticale that I use as a ranging tool and also a hold off for BDC too. Were as the Aimpoint all you get is a dot that last's for a long, long, long time.

The general consensus seems to be that the aimpoint is easier for longer range due to having only a 2 moa dot versus the 65 moa ring plus dot in the middle.

But I guess if you take the magnifier, both of the are equally good.

Anyway, at 445 + tax for the optic and the mount, easy choice for me.

Without a doubt, EOtech.

Why?
Better FOV, smaller and faster retical (1 MOA dot, 65 MOA ring), can take a brutal beating.

Not to say AIMpoint doesn't offer advantages, better battery life, totally coverable out of the box, and like the EO' it can take a brutal beating.
This is a highly debatable topic, and it'll always come down to personal choice.

When making your final decision, make sure you're comparing apples to apples.
Happy shooting!
