Eotech warranty turnaround times

Has anyone sent an eotech in for warranty recently? I'm debating sending my 512 in for delamination issues, but am hesitant in case it takes ages. Phoned their support and the teenager had no idea.

I've heard there is a huge problem. I hope that isn't the case, but that info was enough for me to look at other optics options.
 
Update! Just got the sight back. I sent it out mid july so approximately 2.5-3 months door to door. Because my optic is an older model I had to pay an $80 USD service fee but newer units should be free as far as I can tell.
