Eotech Xps

That's ow eo techs look in person...I thought the same thing first time I checked one out.

If you use it in the daylight it appears better, and make sure to look through the optic to your target and don't focus on the red dot(s) themselves

The Zombie BioHazard reticle is comprised of many small dots, it is not a solid line shape, so it doesn't look anything like what they show on their website, it is actually a hazy swimming sets of tiny dots in the general shape of the BioHazard symbol.
You have to force yourself to look past the optic at your target with both eyes open to get it to look a bit better, if you stare at the reticle itself, you can see the tiny dots and blurry shape and that it swims and changes around the edges as you change your viewing angle.

I purchased an Eotech XPS 3.0 about two years ago. I played with it, sighting objects inside the house and found the circle/dot was fuzzy.

After doing some reading I discovered that if your eyes are getting on in years (which mine are) and if you have astigmatism (which I also have!), both can make the display fuzzy. I ended up selling the sight!

Earlier this year I shot a friends AR at the range which had an Eotech on it. This time I was at the range in daylight sighting at 25 - 50 yards. However, although I have eyesight issues, using the optic in daylight aiming at targets further away, the image was much clearer.

I ended up buying another Eotech, an EXPS 3.0 and find I really like it for close range 'plinking'.

If you haven't done so, mount the optic on your gun and try it in natural daylight aiming at a target 25-50 yards away and see if it works for you.

Good luck.
