Hi,i want to buy a eotech for my AR-15,and i want to know if it 's a good choice,i will use it for target shooting (I.P.S.C and 3GUNS),i have the standard front sight on my AR-15.

I have the 3-2, and the 552. The 3-2 is outstanding, and mounting it on the Larue LT-110 made it even better. It'll clear the front sight nicely.

My opinion? Get it. Use it. Love it.

No. I got the LT-110 to raise it a bit, as I prefer the lower third co-witness. Prior to that, I had it co-witnessed through an LMT BUIS just fine.
 
I have the eotech xps2-2 and would recomend the LaRue 110 mount. You get a lower third co-witness and the front sight wont be so dominant in your sight picture. If you mount the xps2-2 directly to the rail then the front sight is a direct co-witness with the dot. I like the lower co-witness better.
