I seen the whack of Hawkeyes they got in the used section I didn't think a man could like Hawkeyes that much

I almost bought one of the hawkeyes, but walked out the door yesterday morning with a sweet little T3 in 25-06 with an Elite 3200 on top

"...just got in a boat load of used..." Most shops do, just after hunting season. Guy misses a shot and thinks it's the rifle and not his failing to sight in or practice with his hunting ammo.

these could not have come in from hunters, by the numbers it looks like they got them from their distributer at clearance prices, demos and refurbs

"...got them from their distributor..." Could be. Distributors need to make room for new stuff too. Either way, this time of year is usually a good time to be shopping for a new hunting rifle.
