I'm pretty certain you have to make a post in the greeting thread to start, and then apply. It can take a few days for approval post application.

That link you sent is giving me a headache. I'm sorry but I guess the exchange area isn't for me.

Under "how to apply" it states any section. My interest is military surplus so that's why I posted here.

Too many loops to jump through for a forum. What rules are the actual rules?

Scroll down to the EE forum on the main page and click on 'Click Here to Apply for Access to Equipment Exchange Forums'. Can take a few days for the volunteers to get it done.

It took me a couple of days to get approved when I first joined CGN. They have to weed out any bots or spammers. Well worth the wait, IMO......
