Equipment for swaging .357" bullet to .355"

I've used the Lee sizer on jacketted going from .430 to .427 (.4275 actual) Worked fine, not a lot of effort either. I just put a bit of Lee sizing lube in a margarine tub, coated all the bullets, and ran them through.

Depends on the bullet, its jacket thickness, internal construction and type of bonding. Some bullets have been tried and came up with jacket separation.

The Speer Hot Core 338 200gr bullet sizes nicely down to 0.329" in a Lee sizer, so with the right bullet 0.002" is a cinch. Use lots of brass sizing lube.

Well worth a try. Lee sells a 0.356", but a 0.355" would be a custom job.

You might be over stressing the aluminum frame of a LEE press but it would probably work in any cast steel press. Just don't forget the sizing lub.
