Eric's Extreme Products for Tanfoglio Available Now at Freedom Ventures!

Did those mag bases make it in yet? I broke another 2 at my last match and I am officially choked. Why on earth were these mag bases designed to be so weak??
my advice is to use the rubber base pads indoors. They never break. I have lots of the OEM aluminum ones as well,..but they have never broke.

How's this tease?
I saw Eric yesterday for a very short time and he showed me a prototype Tanfoglio / Eric DA hammer that he said dropped in with 2 lbs SA and 6 Lbs DA with a 13lb mainspring. This is with the current sear and should work on any Tanfoglio DA/SA (So that includes L, Limited pro, Stock I/II/II, Combat guys)

He has ordered the new firing pins that work with the firing pin safety for production, and thinks it may even be possible to have a mainspring as light as 12 lbs with it.

More later in the week!

Sean, any idea when hammer parts gonna be available?

Eric indicated probably Late February / Early March. The hammer should be combined with the new firing pin for the FP safety which will be out around the same time.

Tanfoglio goal is to offer a Stock II and Stock III "Xtreme" guns in March (Delivery would be summer) that incorporates all of Eric's designed parts in the guns. (Pricing not yet available, but they will be more expensive than a standard Stock II or III with Eric's parts installed - they'll have special finishes and cases, etc.)

Thanks. I would like to have new hammer/firing pin for my Stock II.
Right now, best I can get is 3lbs10oz SA and 10lbs6oz DA.

I will wait for one of these! I am 100% going to buy one and have my current Stock III for backup. I will sell some Glocks and my Kimber Desert Warrior for one if anyone is interested. lmao :)

I am getting one as well. Sounds awesome. Will be getting the firing pin (that works with the FPB) and the hammer.

Freedom Ventures has the eric base pads in stock (if not all sold out of course), give Sean a call on monday and he'll be more then happy to help u out

Nice! Production legal too. OK that's it, I can't hold off anymore. Going to order these and the Stock III Special. My Kimber Desert Warrior is going up on the EE if anyone is interested. As soon as that is sold hopefully Sean has a Stock III Special left. :) Sean are these base pads the same as the ones that come on the mags with the Stock III Special?

I've got a Tanfoglio combat standard 9mm, do these aftermarket grips allow you to reduce the grip size? I find that the Baby Eagle grips are slimmer, and I'm looking for something like that, but they don't seem to be interchangeable :(

The tanfoglio rubber grips expand outwards and I was hoping they would line up with the steel frame.

One other thing, is it really true that you can run multiple calibres on the tanfoglio combat with just different barrels, magazines, and springs? I read on wikipedia that you can do this and I'm curious if you can get the kits? I'd like to be able to run 40S&W and 22lr with my frame

Eric's are smaller than the rubber grips and the factory aluminum grips are even a bit thinner.

You need an entire different top end (and magazines, of course) and you can only convert a small frame (which your combat probably is) to 40 or 22LR from 9mm - not 45, 38 Super or 10mm.

the item description says the Grauffel grips are slightly thicker than the Tanfoglio aluminum grips. I have really small hands, as in, a 5 foot 3 east indian girl makes fun of me sometimes. The baby eagle 9mm grip size was perfect, so do you know if those factory aluminum grips would mimick this better than the eric grauffel's?

EDIT: If I'm going to play IPSC later, is it legal to use the magwell adapter? Should I be purchasing the grips with the custom or standard? thanks

I'm not really familiar with the grips on a baby eagle, so I can't compare them, sorry.
Adding a magwell to a combat would be a big mistake is you wanted to get going in IPSC.
It would move it to a division that it would be really outclassed in.
