ERMA catalogue circa 1986

Around those years, they also made a pump (EG-722), which I thought was kind of nice.

The founder of Henry had an involvement with Erma back in the day.
I think Henry is still making the pump action, although I haven't seen one in the wild.
Rossi also makes a version very similar, but has some weird features that make it look kinda fugly to me

The ERMA EGM 1, was my dream gun as a young teenager (10-12y), growing up in Germany.

Every day after school me buddy and I passed by the hardware store, to "lick" the display window.

Never had owned one since, and now they seem to be on the prohib list.
There goes my childhood dream.

I had the EM-1 22LR with 2 15 shot mags. It only cycled round nose bullets, very sharp feed ramp that let hollow point noses smash a bit and not feed. Regardless the peep sights were wicked accurate. You could spend all day zapping a pop can around in the dirt at 100m. 25-50-75-100 were the steps of the rear sight and wind age knob.

Super fun toy that killed probably 1000 gophers.
