Error 2 with new magnetospeed

So I tried out my new magnetospeed with my 35 Whelen with a heavy sporter Shilen barrel. Couldn't get anything but this error. Any ideas? The barrel has a slight contour to it so I did shim with a little piece of rubber to make it level across the bayo... No luck. Thanks.

You my be a little low on mine it's got to be at the right high compared to the bore or it won't work

I use a piece of doweling to check the clearance should be about 1/4"

I used my cleaning rod to check and it looked good. I'll just have to tinker a little. Thx guys.
