I got meself a Marlin 725 magazine, just a 7 rounder. I am pleased with the quality of it, it's very nicely built.

I tried it out in the magazine well of my Squires Bingham 20P and it is a VERY close fit. I am going to try building the rear of the box up, hopefully with a bit of tinkering it will be an adequate fit.

You seem to know a bit about these guns.

What would you say a model 20 with a broken trigger is worth?

I will give you a dollar to keep it away! Sorry...a bit jaded. I recently took up the reins of a "broken trigger" project. It took me months (and a lot of nagging) to find a replacement I could afford...

I found out after, Numrich does have a complete trigger available. If I were to undertake a project like that again, I'd pony-up and buy a new one. I used to be quite partial to the 'ol 20's...they are pretty accurate, affordable, and nicely sized. That trigger is the achillies heel. Chasing those little ball bearings around my kitchen floor proved good excercise though!

PM sent...

Magazines are worth about 40 bucks from a dealer, can be found at shows for about 25 bucks.
