Here is my euroarms import SMLE in case anyone is curious. It's a 1916 Enfield MkIII*, converted to MkIII in 11/25 for the Royal Navy (mag cutoff installed, along with windage adjustable rear sight). It was subsequently gifted to Italy in WW2 and overhauled at FAT in 1970, where they swapped out a few small parts - nothing major.

Thank you for sharing. I remember that import well, and was able to sort through many rifles before they were sent to dealers.

Unfortunately, many of the units handled by a Canadian importer (who I will not name) had spurious (fake) Canadian "C Broad Arrow" and other fake Canadian markings applied to the wrist, receivers, and forends of many No. 1 and No. 4 rifles.

Why? No idea. But that dealer has a track record of similar behaviours.
