Want to try and get out a bit more this year yet, so I was wondering how much success anyone has had turkey hunting in the evenings. Im still really new to the turkey thing and was wondering if this pans out or just stick with the mornings? Thanx everyone!!

you will have better luck out in a field than at home on the computer.
If you hunt a pressured area, the afternoon might be just the thing to get your bird
just make sure you are done by 7pm

I have had my most boring turkey hunting excursions all fall within the 4-7pm time period. I won't sit another second out during that time. Lots of guys have luck, in my area I don't. My best time is from 11-2pm.

Setup and hunt food sorces. Turkeys like to feed before fly up so these areas are a better place to spend time. Afternoon birds afre much quieter then morning so don't expect a lot of calling and answering. Keep watch with out a lot of movement for silent birds walking in on setups.
