Where is the best place to find info on different competitions/meets in AB/BC? Interested in seeing what is out there and rigging up accordingly. I currently compete with pistol (IPSC), but looking for a little long range too.

SAPRL does a couple of bigger matches near Medicine Hat, and Wild Rose Action Shooters shoot out of CHAS near Edmonton. Can find both on Facebook.
 
Start cruising these forums for organizations that host events, and the names of specific events. There's also the Alberta hunting forum to check out. Then try to "like and follow" the orgs. and the event pages on Facebook, as that's where a lot of the announcements etc. occur. There's a lot of demand for the bigger events so they seem to fill up fast. You need to be on top of it or it's waiting list for you! Good luck!
 
The SAPRL matches I've been to over the past couple years have been awesome! Chad and Shawn do an amazing job of running those matches. Definitely check into them if you want to do some long range shooting.
