Ever been denied a PAL or RPAL?

1 person I met they didn't like who he hung out with so they blocked all transfers but gave him his RPAL. They were trying to take it back after too. His buddys were drug dealers.
Another person lost his PAL when he got divoreced for 10 years because he agreed to it his buddy has his firearms and he can't even goto the range and touch them which is just stupid. He lost some prohibited classes as well

Yes, whether or not you own a tattoo shop is on the application. Body piercing shops are acceptable, but only if you stay north of the navel. Freaky deakey bones through the nose will get you on a no fly list!

question for RPAL owners
wondering if my "anti" GF/wife will be a threat to my RPAL application?
i have her signature but could they call her too, if so do they ask question about me only or are they asking if it's alright with her to have a gun in the house which will be a whole other ball game that i have to work out when i get it. i know it's crazy but yeah media propaganda did a fantastic job on her
Or do they only call the two peoples you wrote down on the application.

They did call my wife. They asked about me as well as her feelings towards it. If my wife had a problem or was uncomfortable about it, I wouldn't waste my time and money. It's not worth risking your relationship over firearms.

they still ask for your most recent relationship within 2 years and the answer would be the same
guess i will have to get her head straight before i even consider having her signing anything
I told my wife from the beginning "I don't want you to live in fear". If there is ever a problem all she has to do is make a phone call and all your guns would be gone and you would spend a fortune in legal fees trying to get them back. I remind her from time to time, that if she feels uncomfortable with them in the house, I would sell them all in a heartbeat. My wife and family are more important.
I would suggest taking her out with a friend who has guns and teach her the safety stuff and let her shoot, she may enjoy it. If possible, she could take the safety courses with you or maybe the instructor would be ok with just letting her sit in and watch.
